Today I received an update from Girls' High School (GHS) Newsletter Committee. What an unsettling closing I read! It informed the Class of the Great 208 of Donna's passing.
I met Donna at the then Roosevelt Jr. High School in Germantown. We were assigned to the same homeroom section, along with Elizabeth "Betty" Bradley Houle. The 3 of us left junior high school to attend GHS for 9th-12th grades. At our 50th GHS Anniversary, little did we know, Betty, Donna and I stepped into the photo booth to capture our "youthful" beauty for the last time.
Know that despite our infrequent life contacts, those encounters were filled with humor, "wise cracks," fond memories and LOVE. May Donna's community be comforted with yet more positive thoughts and memories of her.
PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Donna Ann was my flower girl in my wedding . I will always cherish the times Donna Ann and I would get together at her house on Christmas Eve to cook and the fun trips we would take together with her mom and dad. Donna Ann will be greatly missed by all of us

Donna Ann was a great Big Sister to all her cousins. We all have so many wonderful memories of her. My favorite memory of Donna Ann was that our birthdays were one day apart and every year we would all go to the carnival at a church in our neighborhood. I still think of her on the day of my birthday. Thank You Jesus for blessing our family with Donna Ann

Dearest Luke, Francesca and John... I will never forget your mom. Her smiles, warmth and open heart that was always extended to me for many years, and to Casey, Anthony & Francesco... the holiday get togethers that she so generously hosted were some of the best family times in my life... please accept my regrets that I will not be able to see you on Saturday... you have all been in my prayers and thoughts throughout all of Mom's illness. I have faith that assures me her struggles are all over now and she is in radiant peace. My sincerest sympathies to each of you. Much love, Daria.
