Theresa (Janson) Tallarico

Theresa (Janson) Tallarico, on April 5, 2022, at age 85.

Devoted mother of four; (the late) Mario Tallario, Angela (Joe) Calfapietra, Peter (Kim) Tallarico, Therése (Steve) Schweikert.

Loving grandmother "Mugga" of Paige, Joie, Sophia, Janson, Hunter, Olivia and Roman.

Terry is also survived by her sister Sandra, many special cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Her family, friends, and neighbors loved her dearly.

Terry was a part of the Roxborough community her whole life. She started her career as a hairdresser working for Sam and Carol Colubriale on Conarroe Street then they moved across the street to Hairport. She continued her career at Marguerite's (DelMonte) on Ridge (across from 7-Eleven), then worked in the same location under Pat Marino. She loved the job but most importantly her loyal customers.

Terry was very involved with her church especially while her children attended Saint Lucy's School. She was selling Conshohocken Bakery bread and tomato pie in the hall after masses. She also ran the (oh-so popular) Saint Lucy dances and was the first to show the video "Thriller" by Michael Jackson... she was always ahead of the curve!

After retiring from hairdressing, Terry moved on to working as a barista (before there were baristas) at Dunkin Donuts on Ridge Ave (Conshohocken). One particular customer loved her so much she was hired as her full- time nanny... Dr. Philip and Judy Ginsberg's daughter, Rachel grew up and she was then promoted as the Office Manager at his office at Albert Einstein Medical Center. She retired after many years... enjoyed the hard work, the patients and many friends she made.

Terry loved to spend her retirement with her close friends going on picnics down the crick, shopping/site seeing up the country and down the shore. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids on the beach in Sea Isle (by the rocks) and hanging at Dennisville Campground.

She felt the need to keep her energy and creativity going and took the position of President of the 21st Ward Golden Age Club at the Rec. She loved to plan the themed activities, great food and spend time with her friends there.

Relatives and friends are invited to Viewing at 10:00am on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 followed by mass at 11:00am at IHM Catholic Church 819 Cathedral Road, Philadelphia, PA 19128.

Interment is at Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken.
