Stephen M. Lawrence

Stephen M. Lawrence, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his family on June 23, 2024, Age 52. Husband of Marcy Lawrence (nee LaPera). Father of Alexandria Peoples (Isaac), Maggie Lawrence, Jake Lawrence and Ava Lawrence. Grandfather of Isaac Peoples. Son of Samuel and Margaret Lawrence, brother of Samuel Lawrence III (Lisa) and Jodie Gasko (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and the extended LaPera family.

Stephen was a soccer coach for Houston Soccer and Roxborough United Soccer Club and a softball coach for the 21st ward Fillies. Creating a team environment while having fun is what he was, known for. You could always find him in the stands cheering on his own children during their games as well. He was a business agent for the local 835 operating engineers and took great pride in supporting his team. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. The love Stephen had, for his family was something to admire. He enjoyed spending quality time with his children and new addition to his family his "little buddy" Isaac, Jr.

We invite family and friends to attend a visitation on Friday, June 28 at 9 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 E. Cathedral Road, Philadelphia. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. interment is private.
