Ruthann O'Mara, SSJ

S. Ruthann O'Mara, SSJ, (Formerly S. John Mercedes, SSJ), December 21, 2024, Age 80. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Joseph and Anna (Bartle) O'Mara and her brother, Joseph O'Mara. She is survived by her siblings, William (Linda) O'Mara, Margaret Hennelly-Bergin, Florence (Robert) Hartman, Thomas (Rosemary) O'Mara, and Helen O'Mara, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and members of her Congregation, the Sisters of Saint Joseph.

Visitation by relatives and friends will begin at 9:30 am on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Saint Joseph Villa in Flourtown. A Memorial Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Services will be live-streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sister's name to Saint Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave, Flourtown, Pa 19031.
