Rose (Zbyszinski) Stanish

Rose M. Stanish (nee Zbyszinski), January 18, 2023, Age 94. Wife of the late Edward Stanish. Mother of Christine Bullard (James), Mark Stanish (Patrice) and Paul Stanish (Deborah). Grandmother of Nate Bullard (Jenny), Clare Cullen (Paul), William (Jen), Jean and Nicholas (Mallory) Bullard; Sophie (Joni), Isabel, Luke, and Xavier Stanish; James (fiancee Patricja Okuniewska), Douglas, Mary and Ava Stanish. Great-Grandmother of Joe, Ellie, Lucy, Gabe, Charlotte, Mae Bullard, Mary, Josh, Annie, Benjamin and John Paul Cullen; Hannah, Noah and Sam Bullard; Oliver and Addie Bullard.

She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Zbyszinski.

Born in Conshohocken, Rose lived most of her early life in Manayunk, graduating from St. Josephat Grade School and later Hallahan High School where she was a proud member of the swim team. She married her neighborhood sweetheart Ed Stanish in 1950 at St. Mary's Church in Conshohocken followed by a raucous wedding reception at the T.K. Club. They raised their growing family on E. 10th Avenue in Conshohocken. Later in in life she was the head cashier at the Acme on Fayette Street.

Rose was very proud of her Polish heritage and instilled in her children and grandchildren traditions that are still being carried on today.

She was a loving daughter, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be missed by many.

Relatives and Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, January 24 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Benedict Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor.
