Robert W. Gaughan

Robert Gaughan, 77, passed away on January 11, 2021, in Philadelphia, PA. Robert "Bob" Gaughan was born on March 29, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA, to Harold and Agnes Gaughan. Bob graduated from Roman Catholic High School in 1961 and went on to earn an Associates Degree from Community College of Philadelphia. He started his career as a Firefighter and went on to work for The City Of Philadelphia for 41 years. Finishing his career as a Captain in the fire department. He also worked part time for many years for Acme and Giant.

Bob's favorite thing was spending time with his children and grandchildren. Bob also served in the United States Army from 1964-1966. Bob is survived by his 4 dedicated children: Elizabeth (Denis) Bower of Plymouth Meeting, Brian (Linda) of Andorra, Shawn of Andorra and Jennifer (Shea) Scally of Plymouth Meeting. He is also survived by 9 loving grandchildren: Casey, Shannon, Bailey, Dominic, Paige, Cayley, Conor, Teagan and Kynleigh. Bob is preceded in death by cherished wife Jan of 48 years.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a Visitation on Wednesday, January 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Ave. A Visitation will also be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 21 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 E. Cathedral Rd. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
