I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Cunningham.
I have the best memories of our father, George Smith, bringing my sister and I "back the crick" to see Mr. Cunningham and his horse in the spot where they rested. It's one of my favorite memories of one of my favorite places.
I still remember going to Roxborough Baptist and sitting with my dad, in his spot,  and looking over at the Cunningham's setting in their spot. It was always so nice to see them especially on Christmas Eve.
If I remember right, my father was in their wedding..
The last time I saw Mr. Cunningham was in the Giant supermarket. I stopped, turned around, called his name to be sure it was him. It was a while ago.. When I gave him a hug, it was like hugging my father.
What a wonderful generation of men. I'm so very grateful to have these memories of Mr and Mrs Cunningham.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. May your memories sustain you.
Much love,
Tina Smith Lavelle
