Robert W. Cox

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert W. Cox, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on December 20, 2025, at the age of 84.

Born on January 5, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA, Robert lived a full and vibrant life. Robert was cherished by his children: Robert M. Cox, Pamela D. Raffaldt (the late Robbie), Diane L. Spain (Bernard), Jesse R. Cox (Linda), Kristin M. Cox, and the late Gary W. Cox. He was also grandfather to Corey Conroy (Alexandria), Zachary Raffaldt, Jenna Cox-Carey (Matthew), Liam, and Kiera Cox, as well as a great-grandfather to Payton, Aaliyah, Thomas, Carter, and Sadie Jane.

Robert's heart was also shared with his longtime companion, Dolores Celani, and his niece, Megan Cox, and his former wives Verna McCaskill and Linda Cox. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert E. and Eleanor S. (nee Haberlein) Cox, and his brother, Richard D. Cox (Sandy).

In his free time, Robert was an adventurous spirit and loved to spend time in nature. An avid fly fisherman, he thrived outdoors and found peace by the water. He also had a knack for collecting coins and had a genuine love for country music, especially the tunes of Willie Nelson. On game days, you could always find him rooting for his beloved Philadelphia Eagles, proudly sharing stories of his support for the team in the New Orleans Super Bowl back in 1981. With a sharp wit and an infectious sense of humor, Robert had a way of making everyone around him smile, often leaving them in stitches with a twinkle in his eye.

A memorial service will take place at Koller Funeral Home on January 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with time to greet the family starting at 9:30 AM. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate the life of this remarkable man, whose legacy will never be forgotten.
