Rita Hekker, SSJ Obituary
S. Rita Frances Hekker, SSJ (formerly Sister Francella), May 15, 2024, Age 90. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Wilhelmina (Bohack) Hekker, brothers Henry and Frank Hekker and sisters, Lois Henn Hekker and Winifred Strong. She is survived by her sister Mary Jane Hansen, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and members of her congregation, the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Philadelphia.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 24, 2024. Services will be live-streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sister's name to Saint Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown, PA 19031.
