Richard H. Owens

Richard H. Owens "Dick", the Man the Myth, and the Legend, formerly from Roxborough, passed away on August 4, 2025. He is the husband of the late Betty. Father of Donna Copestick (the late William), Dawn Leahy (Boots), Robert Owens (Kate) and the late Rick Owens (Joanne). He is the grandfather of Billy Leahy (Shannon), Alison Moxham (Jordan), Brian Leahy (Talia), Kelly Owens (Tyler), Kristen Owens, Gillian Copestick (Mike), Sean, Christian, and Moira Owens. Great grandfather of 8, soon to be 9. Richard is the son of the late Patrick and Ethel (Turtle) Owens, brother of Patrick J. Owens Jr. (Lynne), and the late Ethel Signorovitch (Joe), Anna Gray (Joe), Ruth Howard (Chet), and Peggy Poglitsch (Frank). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Wednesday evening from 6-8pm at the Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia. On Thursday, a Viewing will be held at Koller Funeral Home beginning at 10 AM with a Funeral service to follow at 11 AM. Interment is Private.
