Mandy Gudknecht-Obst, the daughter of the late Charlie and Donna Joe Gudknect (nee Harihan) passed away suddenly on April 16, 2020 due to medical complications at Temple University Hospital, in Philadelphia, Pa.
Mandy is survived by her soulmate, Jimmie Obst. She is sadly missed by her daughter, Skylar Gudknecht and her son, Dante Obst and his siblings Nicholas and Briana.
Mandy held a third of the bond between three girls, and that will forever be cherished, as she is sorely missed by her sisters Jami Gudknecht and Nicki Hallacker.
Mandy is missed by her nieces Ahlaynah Rivera, Gia, Jada, Annie, Ava, and Julianna. Her nephews Dominic Polanco, Andrew, and the late Baby James. Her passing has her aunts, her uncles, her cousins, and many friends mourning her beautiful soul. Mandy's presence is especially missed by her favorite cousin, Dominic Gudknecht.
Mandy was known for her loving free spirit, her ability to comfort, her love for animals, and her passion for baking. She touched the lives of everyone who crossed her path. The love between Jimmie and Mandy was an exciting adventure from the beginning. They effortlessly became one, and love they shared was fierce; their love is never ending. Mandy found her life’s purpose when she became a mother. The love for her children was immeasurable. Since the moment they were born her heart has beat for them. They are her living legacy. Skylar and Dante have the very best parts of her and she’ll live on through them. She was a selfless, generous woman, with a compassionate nature, and she helped anyone in need. Mandy was one of a kind and she had a huge heart. Although, she was only here for a short time, she created such huge impact on the lives she touched. She definitely left her mark in this world. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic all services are being held private. At a later date, a memorial service will be held, for all to attend and celebrate the life of Mandy.
