Later in her life, she moved Philadelphia, PA where she attend night school to learn English and worked at Dunkin Dounuts during the day, on Broad Street.
She spent most of her working years at the Defense Personnel Support Center where she made military uniforms as a seamstress.
She will be greatly missed, especially by her second family at the Church of the Salavation Army, where she was an active member who enjoyed many social events with her friends.
She will be remembered for her laugh, her love of life and the million memories that she has gifted every person she ever came into contact with. She was a lover of gardening, a fantastic dancer, a skilled seamstress and a collecter of shoes! She was an avid fisher, a lover of hand bags and a menace behind the wheel.
