Kevin Robert Devlin of Philadelphia ("Wilbur", "Head", "Dev"), succumbed to his battle with cancer on October 6, 2020 at his home in Roxborough, surrounded by his family.
He was born on August 8, 1960 to Rodger and Marguerite Devlin. Kevin had three older siblings: Meg, Rodger and Eileen. He was married to Maryalice Devlin for 30 years. He attended Immaculate Heart of Mary school, graduated from Roman Catholic Hight School and attended Textile University. He was an athlete who excelled at many sports, but baseball most of all. He was even scouted by the Yankees and Mets at one point and returned to Roman Catholic to be inducted into their Hall of Fame for baseball in 1997.
Kevin was a Court Officer for the City of Philadelphia for 24 years and a Magistrate for the State of Pennsylvania for eight years.
He is survived by his son Kevin Ian Devlin and daughter-in-law Jacqueline Devlin; his sisters Meg and Eileen; sister-in-law Susan; his sixteen nieces and nephews from the Devlin and Hinchcliff families as well as many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Viewing at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 10 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 E. Cathedral Rd. Philadelphia, PA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
