Karen Washabaugh, SSJ

S. Karen Washabaugh, SSJ formerly S. Margaret Mary passed away on November 20, 2024 at the age of 79. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Margaret (nee Spahr), her siblings Ted Washabaugh, Peg Bonner (Martin), Edward Washabaugh (Pat), James Washabaugh (Joanne), Richard Washabaugh, Doris Becker (Robert), Bernie Washabaugh, Lynn Dovey (Lee), Debbie Carmack, Susan Washabaugh, Mary Alice Washabaugh, Lauren Etter, and Elliot Deshong. She is survived by Donald Washabaugh, Mona Etter, Sandy Deshong, Carita Washabaugh,, Mary Lou Washabaugh, Virginia Washabaugh, Leonard Carmack, nieces, nephew, grandnieces, grandnephews, and the members of her Congregation, the Sisters of Saint Joseph.

Visitation by relatives and friends will begin at 9:30 am on November 25, 2024 at Saint Joseph Villa in Flourtown. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Services will be live-streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sister's name to Saint Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave, Flourtown, Pa 19031.
