John D. Hennessy

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of John D. Hennessy, age 77, who departed this life on April 23, 2026, in West Grove, Pennsylvania. Born on August 14, 1948, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, John was a cherished son, brother, and friend, known for his kindness and dedication.

John is the son of the late Joseph and Ruth Hennessy (nee Lloyd) and is survived by his sons, Michael and David, and devoted brother, James. He leaves behind a loving family, including nieces and nephews who will forever hold him in their hearts. John was preceded in death by his brother Joseph.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Holy Cross Church on May 1, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass celebrating John's life at 10:30 AM. His final disposition will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

John's warm presence and generous heart will be missed by all who knew him. As we gather to honor his memory, we find comfort in the love he shared and the many lives he touched.
