John C. Cupo

John C. Cupo,"Johnny Coop" passed away on August 11, 2023 at the age of 70. John was the husband of Raye Ann Cupo (nee Gosson). He was the father of Cristy Cupo (Michael MacLeod), Christopher Cupo (Kelly Holmes), Paulie Black (Danielle), and Rae Ann Black. Grandfather of Lenel, PJ, Madison, Chase, Cole, Nicole, Christopher, and Connor. He was the son of the late John A. Cupo and Dorothy Kappe (nee Barber). Brother of Petey Cupo (Mary Jane), Joey Cupo, Chalie Kappe (Carole), Eddie Kappe, and the late Craig Smith and Laura Assuncao. John is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends, especially Tony Passivo and Eddie Rager.

John was a family man, he spent most of his free time with his family and friends. He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting and being silly with those he loved, especially his grandkids. He loved listening to all types of music and enjoyed dancing with his wife and his family. Dad was always the life of the party; his smile would light up any room. For those who knew him, knew that he loved with his whole heart.

After graduating from Roxborough High School in 1971, John proudly served his country in the Army. He received a National Defense Service Medal and he was a sharpshooter.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family on Saturday, August 26th beginning at
10 AM at Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Ave. A Memorial Service will follow at 12 PM. Interment is private.
