Joanne Romagnole

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Joanne Romagnole, who departed this life on October 5, 2024, at the age of 61. A beloved sister, aunt, and friend, Joanne brought joy, warmth and love to all who knew her.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Elda Romagnole. She is survived by her adoring sister Renee Romagnole (Edward Hurd), her brother Anthony Romagnole (Sarah), and is predeceased by her loving sister Donna Carapucci, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Joanne was known for her great kindness, care and generous spirit, and her profound love of children, the elderly, and animals. She had a special affection for the elderly always offering support, encouragement and a helping hand to those in need. A devoted family member and friend, Joanne found much happiness in spending time with her loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured forever, especially in her frequent visits to Florida with Renee and Ed where she found peace and comfort in her final years. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will carry her memory in their hearts.

We will honor Joanne's life on October 10 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Lafayette Hill, PA with a Viewing 9:00 am-10:30 am, followed immediately by Mass at 10:30 am. Burial services to follow. We strongly encourage friends and family attending the services to wear bright and colorful attire, in honor of Joanne who was always dressed in spirit-lifting colors!

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to The Breast Cancer Research Fund at the Abramson Canter Center, which reflects her passion for the future treatment and cure for breast cancer.
