Joan H. (McMahon) Remolde

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished Mother, Joan H (McMahon) Remolde (91) on January 5, 2025, at the Masonic Villages in Lafayette Hill, PA. surrounded by her beloved family. Wife of the late Francis G Remolde (Reds). Mother of Maureen Murphy (Bill), Kathy Lare (Jim) and Colleen Paluba (Steve). Joan was predeceased by her husband Francis, her parents, Theresa and Charles McMahon, her sisters Marie Mintzer and Catherine Minnick. Joan is survived by her sister Jacqueline Shields, her twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Born on December 14, 1933, she was raised in Roxborough and was a graduate of St John the Baptist High School for Girls. In 1995 Joan and Reds retired to Punta Gorda Florida where they enjoyed many years of the retirement life they always dreamed of. During her time in Punta Gorda Joan found a love for painting and was able to enjoy many days of golfing. She was a joy to everyone she met.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Joan's family at Our Mother of Consolation Parish, 9 East Chestnut Hill Ave, Philadelphia, PA at 10:00 AM on January 9, 2025. Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Masonic Villages, 801 Ridge Pike Lafayette Hill, PA 19444 in memory of Joan Remolde.
