Joan C. Marshall, 85 of Philadelphia, lived in Cape May, NJ and returned to Roxborough in recent years, passed away comfortably at home surrounded by her children on June 20, 2024. She was the wife of the late Raymond A. Marshall Jr. and is survived by her children Beth A. McNutt (Mark), Diane A. Busch (Lawrence), Glenn A. Marshall (Christine), Cynthia A. Browna (Leonard), and John A. Marshall (Gina), 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
The order Joan brought to life was unmatched. She was the glue of her beloved family. Her wise, generous and clever personality shone through in the infinite number of projects she created. She was a prolific crafter who loved to bless others with her various handiworks. She enjoyed crafting with many sewn, quilted and crocheted gifts for friends and family. Joan also enjoyed using her talents as a seamstress to donate items to various charities.
Joan was a strong believer in the power of God and was known to others as a dedicated prayer warrior. She was quick to lift up the burdens and worries of this life into the loving hands of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Joan put her trust and faith into the promises of the Bible and relied on God's strength to encourage others. Some of her favorite verses were John 14:1-2 which says "Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you."
