Joan Jean Correnti (Nee Castellucci) passed away peacefully at her home in Suwanee, Georgia on August 4, 2025.
Joan was born on May 30, 1935 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Roxborough High School. She started her career in the Insurance Business, then went into banking with First Pennsylvania Bank.
Her love of cooking took her into the Pizzeria Restaurant business. First owning her own pizzeria in Delaware County and then working for her brother at his business, Mom's Bake at Home Pizza. Joan's specialty was her Italian dishes, strombolis and sandwiches.
Joan's true value was her outstanding work as a care giver, devoting years of her life caring for loved ones. Joan was a devout Christian and a dedicated prayer warrior. She would often call the 700 Club to enlist more prayers for the needs of others.
She was a loving, dedicated mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. Joan is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Salvucci, son, Dr. Peter (Kathleen) Correnti, Jr., grandsons, Tyler (Aleigha) Salvucci and Peter Correnti, III, granddaughters, Gianna (Glenn) Anderson and Kaitlin (Johnny) Jackson, great-grandchildren, Avaleigh, Trey, and JD Salvucci; Vienna, Ryker, and Angelina Anderson; and Kaylee and Hope Jackson.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband Peter, the love of her life. Also, her siblings Bessie D'Adamo, Josephine Broskey, Nicolas, George, Daniel, and Paul Castellucci, and Sam Bernardo.
Family and friends are invited to Joan's viewing on Saturday morning at 10am at Koller Funeral Home, located at 6835 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia. A funeral service will follow at 11am. Interment at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.
