Jessie was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. In 1949, she married the love of her life, Warren. Jessie loved being a homemaker. Everywhere Jessie and her growing family lived became a home full of fond memories filled with homemade curtains, linens, and crafts. Jessie loved to sew, crochet, knit, cook, bake and garden. It was always a treat to get some lovingly handmade item or baked good from her.
Jessie worked in and ran the Main Office of Archbishop Wood High School for Boys. There the boys, faculty, priests and administrators knew they could go to her if they needed any kind of assistance. After she retired from Archbishop Wood Jessie worked at Burpee’s Seed Co. She loved getting early releases of bulbs, plants and seeds for her garden.
Jessie always delighted to be with children and animals. They in turn would always love and respect her as she had a magic touch where they would always trust her and do as asked.
Jessie was known to her family and friends as a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother and caring friend.
Due to COVID -19 pandemic, services and interment are private.
