Jennie McBride Obituary

Jennie May (Andreoli) McBride, 89, passed away on December 12, 2025 surrounded by the immense love of her family. Jennie was born in Philadelphia to Joseph Andreoli and Anne (Steiner) Andreoli.

Known in her large clan as the Queen of the eleven Kingdoms. She is beloved by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jennie was many things an artist, an amazing cook, a sewist, a lover of puzzles especially cryptograms, but first and foremost she was a loving wife, a devoted mother, mom-mom and gigi. Apart from being with her family Jennie enjoyed time with her brother Joseph and sister in law Eileen, and favorite Aunt Rose Andreoli who referred to Jennie as her Shin Shin. Frequently teased that she favored her sons the truth was that there was no hand left unheld, no heart left unmended, no need left unattended. It takes a great woman and a great mom to achieve that and she did it with love still to give until the very end. Because of this she will live forever in the affection she gave, the recipes that will be made, the stories that will be told across this very large adoring family. Her legend and love will go on.

Jennie is predeceased by her loving husband William McBride and her sister Stella Homacki. She leaves behind her children, William (Rae), Kevin (Cindy), James (Joan), Michael (Tish), Deborah (Dave), Judith, Theresa Raquet (Brian), Mark (Marcy), Anne Burns (Mike), Jennifer Maiden (Chris), Peter (Monica), many many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sisters Joan Bergey and Rosemary Zeltner and her cherished brother Joseph Andreoli his wife Eileen and Aunt Rose Andreoli.
