It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Janet M. Folkman, who departed this life on May 31, 2026, at the age of 79. She was a devoted mother, sister, and friend to many.
Janet is preceded in death by her husband Ronald. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Mark Folkman (Debbie) and Scott Folkman (Dr. Kimberley). Her legacy continues through her granddaughter, Alyssa Eller (Josh), and her great-grandson, Hunter Folkman. Janet is also survived by her brother, Burton B. Wolf, as well as many nieces, nephews, and a circle of dear friends and neighbors who will miss her bright spirit. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Louise, and her siblings: Elmer W. "Skip" Wolf and Linda Stankovicz.
In her life, Janet embraced her role as a mother and grandmother with unwavering love and dedication. She enjoyed the simple joys of life, from her immaculate home, which reflected her caring nature, to her enthusiasm for shopping, where she was always adept at finding the best deals. Janet had a heart full of affection for her granddogs, Izzy and Lacey, who brought her immense joy.
Janet's life was a tapestry of love and compassion, creating lasting memories for all who knew her. She was known for her warm smile and a generous spirit that touched the lives of those around her.
Funeral services will be held privately.In this time of grief, we find solace in the memories of Janet's incredible life, and we take comfort in knowing that her spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts. She may be gone from our sight, but she will forever remain in our hearts.
