James Carpenter

James Carpenter, age 67, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jeanne Carpenter, his brother, J Richard Carpenter, and nephew Michael Carpenter. He is survived by his brothers, Charles (Marie) and Frederick (Ria), his sisters Mary Ann Wertan (Vince) and Joni Carpenter-Bensinger (Ric), his sister-in-law Maria Carpenter, as well as his Goddaughter, Elizabeth Sands (Dustin), his nephews Charles J (Krista), Richard (Laura), Geof (Laura), Justin (Jenn), and his nieces Kara, Nina, Danielle & Brooke. He has 17 great-nieces & great-nephews.

Jim retired from National Label company in 2022, after 30 years of loyal service. Jim loved "Red Rose" tea, Ramen noodles, anything chocolate, gallons of ice cream & eating his favorite, catfish. He enjoyed watching classic TV & the old horror movies. In his earlier years, Jim loved going fishing, deep sea or back the creek.

He had a kind soul & never had a bad word about anyone. In honor of Jim, always Be Kind.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Saturday beginning at 10 AM at Koller Funeral Home. A Funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM. Interment is private.
