Dear Kara, Nicky and Teresa,

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your father.  I can't believe that life and time have separated us but I have many wonderful, fond memories of Sunday dinners at your grandparents home (my Uncle Nick and Aunt Nancy) with you and your parents.  I read your dad's beautiful tribute in the Philadelphia Inquirer.  Nick was a remarkable, kind and loving man and an inspiration to all of us.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

Love,
Margie and Rick Cantwell

My heartfelt condolences to the family.  I worked with the Honorable Nicholas  D'Alessandro in his courtroom at Family Court for many years as a Court Representative.  It was an honor.  I still remember the reception the family gave on his last day.  It was only just a few weeks ago that I woke up from a dream of still working with him in his courtroom.  Although I've been retired for over 7 years and the Judge for about 11 years.
The Judge always crossed my mind. I told my daughter about the dream, and that I was really wondering how the Judge was doing.  I remain grateful to him for his encouraging words, words to let me know he thought I did a great job.  I will never forget the Judge.  Rest in Peace Judge.  God Bless You Family.

To the D'Alessandro family:
I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was a colleague of my father's on the bench and I had the pleasure to appear in front of him countless times. Over the years we also became friends. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear cousins,  We're really saddened by the passing of dear Nick.  He was so kind and loyal....a wonderful relative and friend. We have so many fond memories of being at Aunt Nancy and Uncle Nick's home in Roxborough so many years ago, with our parents, Merle and Charlie and also our grandparents, Louise and Rocco.  We spent entire Sunday afternoons and evenings there. In those days, Northeast Philly was a long distance from Roxborough!  Nick Jr. was often holed up in his room studying until dinner time as he was in law school during many of those visits. May you be comforted by your many memories of him and by the God of all comfort.  Much sympathy and love, Missy, Peter, Mike and family.

Kara, Nicky, Teresa and families,

It has been many, many years since I have had any contact with you so not sure if you would remember me.  However, your dad was my first cousin, and I have very fond memories of spending time with all of you at your grandparents (your grandmother and my dad were siblings) home in Roxborough.  Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your dad.  May the loving memories you have of him provide a measure of comfort to you and your family during this difficult time.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
