Glen R. Ehly born on November 10, 1953 to the late Erle and Janet Ehly. He was the brother of Janet Aldinger (Bruce) and William Ehly (Jackie). He attended grade school at Levering School and graduated from Roxborough High School. He then attended Temple University earning a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology.
On May 15, 1976, he married his wife Mary Ellen Winters. Together they have two children Lauren Mullarkey (Michael) and Greg Ehly (Heidi) and four grandchildren, Justin and Spencer Ehly and Audrey and Aiden Mullarkey.
Glen worked at Temple University in the criminal justice department and as a police officer for over 36 years. He was the past President of the Temple University FOP. He also worked for US Steel, the West Conshohocken Police Department, Security at the Annenberg Estate, as well as an electrical apprentice with his father in law. Glen's many interests included cars, reptiles, crossword puzzles, freecell solitaire, Jeopardy/trivia and football. His family was the center of his life. He was personable and will be remembered for his sense of humor and happy go lucky attitude. Glen died suddenly on November 20, 2024 at the age of 71.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Tuesday at Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Ave. beginning at 9:30 AM. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 AM. Interment is Private.
