Frederick J. Sheppard, Jr.

Frederick J. Sheppard Jr., (Fred), 63 passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Roxborough Memorial Hospital of heart failure. Fred was born to Frederick Sheppard, Sr. and Patricia Sheppard (nee McCrea).

Fred attended St. John the Baptist grade school and graduated from Roxborough High School in 1979. After graduation, Fred joined the military serving in the Navy. After the military, Fred worked at various manufacturing jobs during his lifetime in South Carolina and Philadelphia.

Fred is survived by his children, Daughter Danielle Sheppard of South Carolina and Son Fred Sheppard of South Carolina. Stepfather Louis Barr, of Philadelphia, Siblings Brian Sheppard of Philadelphia, Tracy Sheppard of Philadelphia and Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

We will miss Fredʼs wit and funny jokes - he knew how to light up a room!

Visitation on Friday July 12th beginning at 9:30 AM followed with a Celebration of Life Mass at 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, 119 Rector Street, Philadelphia, PA. Burial
private.
