Frances Patricia (Quigley) Callahan

Frances P. Callahan (nee Quigley), born December 14, 1932 in Philadelphia, passed away peacefully January 27, 2021. She lived out her golden years with husband John Callahan of over 60 years, at their dream home overlooking the 16th green at Talamore Country Club in Ambler, PA. Their son John Callahan Jr. preceded her in death several years ago and her husband John preceded her in death two years ago.

Frances is survived by her children Patricia "Trish" Callahan Gallagher, husband Brian Gallagher preceded in death, Margaret "Peg" Callahan Scroger and husband Tim Scroger; grandchildren Mark (wife Claudia), Erin, Timothy, Caitlin and Shawn; great grandchildren Owen, Jackson and Mila. Frances adored her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

Frances was an avid fan of the University of Notre Dame, all of their athletic teams, and especially their football team. She could be found most days sporting Notre Dame gear and making time in her day for supporting them and cheering them on. She loved all things Irish, and her favorite color was certainly green, in any shade.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Viewing on Thursday, February 4 at 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. In addition, the service will be live streamed at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 4 at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5vaMGNKp3c&feature=youtu.be. Interment is private.
