Florence J. (Twardowski) Kesselring

Florence J. Kesselring passed away on November 7, 2025 at the age of 97. She was the beloved mother of 4 children, with 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was born in Philadelphia on October 12, 1928 to Katherine and Alexander Twardowski who were both Polish immigrants, and lived in Philadelphia most of her life. She was blessed to be married to William Kesselring for 72 years, and was known for her devotion to family, lively social life, huge circle of friends and interest in entertaining and sports.

She was preceded in death by her 5 siblings, many friends and husband. She is survived by her children Karen LeBoulch, William Kesselring, Jr. (wife Patricia), Nancy Breghenti (husband Wesley) and Andrew Kesselring, grandchildren William C. Kesselring, Katherine Kesselring Arredondo, Michael Kesselring, Peter Kesselring, David Thomas, Bryan Thomas, Amanda Scott and 8 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Florence's family on April 27, 2026 beginning at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 E. Cathedral Road. A Memorial Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment in George Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to alz.org.
