Elizabeth "Betsy" Bier (6/13/48-6/10/25)

Elizabeth "Betsy" Bier (nee Rauscher), 76 years old. Passed away peacefully at home
surrounded by her loved ones. Survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Skip, loving
daughters Katie and Lisa, stepdaughter Shelly Morris, beloved grandchildren Kyla and Eddie
Mehlberger, Cheyenne Tropea, and Dustin Morris. Loving sisters Mary Ann Skrocki and Peggy
McBride, adoring nieces and nephews, life-long friends Tina Tobin, Mary Ann Palmer, Carol
Melniczek, and so many more. Pre-deceased by her beloved parents, Joseph and Margaret
Rauscher, and her brother Joseph Rauscher.

From her early days at St. Mary of the Assumption and Hallahan High School (Class of 1966)
through her working days at Connelly Container and Roxy Bagel, Betsy was loved by many
people. Her greatest joy was being a mom to her girls.
When you remember Betsy, cheer on her beloved Phillies, have a beer (in a cold glass), enjoy
those cream donuts, and most of all, be kind and loving like she was.

Services will be held: Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Church, Manayunk, 146
Rector St., Philadelphia, 19127. Viewing 9:30- 10:30 AM followed by funeral Mass at 10:30.
Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
