Donald E. Howard, Jr.

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Donald E. Howard Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, on December 29, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on March 5, 1959, in Philadelphia, Donald dedicated his life to his family and community.

A beloved husband to Darlene (née Welsh) together for over 25 cherished years, he is survived by his devoted spouse, and his family that includes his children-Donald E. III, Michael (Megan), Jessica, Mandi Welsh (Raymond Clark), and Jennifer Welsh. He was also a proud grandfather to Olivia Carry, Jayla, Jacob and Kent Clark, and Violet Healy.He is preceded in death by his father Donald Howard, his mother Virginia (née Pearl), and his brother David.

Donald was known for his infectious laughter and a sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. He was a die-hard Eagles fan who truly "bled green," and any given morning you could find him in the kitchen making breakfast while listening to Elvis tunes, his spirit unwavering. His devotion to his children and grandchildren was evident in the many adventures they shared, from beach trips to mountain camping, amusement parks, and poolside gatherings.

A funeral service will be held at Koller Funeral Home on January 4, 2026, at 8:00 PM, with a public viewing starting at 6:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Donald's life and the joy he brought to all.

Donald will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for his cheerful disposition, love for family, and the many wonderful memories he leaves behind.
