Diana M. (Zawislak) Bassi

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Diana M. Bassi, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us on April 12, 2026, at the age of 65.

Diana's journey in life encompassed the roles of a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Edward J. Bassi, (Alarika Kegley) and her cherished granddaughter, Shauna Bassi, who will carry forward her warm spirit. Diana was the loving daughter of the late Joseph F. Zawislak and Sylvia H. Stuetz, and she will be deeply missed by her siblings: Deborah Soupik (Mike), Denise Distel, Joseph Zawislak (Joyce), and Doreen Ryder (the late Gary). She was a wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews-Jillian, Lauren, Corinne, Christopher, Johnnie, thee late Michael, Chelsea, Olivia, and Trisha-who will always hold her memory close to their hearts.

Diana worked as a factory worker in the food manufacturing industry, dedicating her efforts to providing for her family. Beyond her work, she was a competitive spirit with a passion for games, whether it be pinball or pool. Her laughter and enthusiasm brightened the lives of those around her, and her love for family and friends was evident in everything she did.

A Viewing will be held at Koller Funeral Home on April 16, 2026, at 9:00 AM. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in Westminster Cemetery. We invite all who knew and loved Diana to join us in celebrating her life, sharing stories, and remembering the joy she brought into our lives.

In this time of mourning, let us remember Diana for her kind heart, her laughter, and her unwavering dedication to her family. May she rest in peace, forever in the hearts of those she loved.
