It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis J. Menardi, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Dennis left us on November 2, 2025, in his home in Philadelphia, PA, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on December 15, 1950, in Philadelphia, Dennis was a proud local who spent 48 wonderful years married to Eileen Maloney. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. As a father, Dennis was a source of strength and guidance to his children: Michelle Barr (John), Dennis Jr. (Heather), and Nicole Menardi. He took immense pride in being a grandfather to his cherished grandchildren, Johnny, Max, Jaxon, RJ, and Austin, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
Dennis was the son of the late William and Dorothy Menardi (Leahy) and leaves behind his siblings, Marianne Nemec (the late George), William Menardi (Gemma), and Nancy Mara (the late Michael). He was also preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Narewski (the late Eugene). Dennis had a soft spot for his extended family, which includes many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
A Computer Analyst by profession, Dennis was known for his unwavering work ethic, never missing a day of work in 48 years. His dedication was only matched by his passion for life. A die-hard Eagles fan, he loved gathering with family and friends to cheer them on, sharing his witty sarcasm and infectious humor. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life-fishing at the shore, enjoying time at the racetrack and celebrating the holidays with loved ones. Dennis loved a good card game and could always bring laughter to the table.
Family and friends are heartbroken by this loss but will carry Dennis's memory in their hearts forever. His spirit will continue to shine through the joyous moments shared with his family and friends.
In honor of Dennis's remarkable life, a celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 7th from 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will begin at 8 PM. Interment is private.
Let us all gather to share stories, laughter, and the memories that made Dennis such a treasured part of our lives.
