Charles J. McGlade, Jr.

Charles J. McGlade, Jr. passed away on March 13, 2024 at the age of 85. Husband of the late Rosemary (nee Goodwin) McGlade. Father of Barbara McGlade-Woods, Chuck McGlade (Kevin Donahue), and Steven McGlade. Grandfather of Tyler McGlade (Nahema). Son of the late Charles and Louise McGlade.

Charlie and Rose raised their family in Roxborough and in Hallstead, PA. After serving 23 years with the Philadelphia Police Department (1969 - 1992), they moved upstate to their mountain home full time.Charlie was a life-long lover of the outdoors. In addition to hunting, he enjoyed the family's annual fishing trips to Ontario, Canada. Anybody who knew Charlie, knew that he was a real-life MacGyver. There wasn't much that Charlie couldn't repair or restore. He loved tinkering in his workshop. Everyone else's junk was Charlie's treasure.
