Catherine (Winchester) Tims

Catherine (Winchester) Tims, 70, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Cathi was born March 28, 1950 in Roxborough to George J. and Helen (Dougherty) Winchester. She grew up with three siblings - Rosemary (Joe) Jefferys, George P. (Kathy) Winchester and Patricia Winchester. She attended Holy Family Grade School and graduated from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girl's High School in 1968. She began her career working for The Review and became a typesetter. At one point she owned a typesetting business and later in life worked as a secretary prior to retirement.

Cathi married William G. Tims, Sr. on July 1, 1989. They met at work, fell in love and spent 31 years together with their blended family.

Cathi is survived by her children William G. (Roxanne) Tims Jr., Margaret Godlewski, Kathleen (Frank) D'Intino, and Doreen (Harry) Schmitt, grandchildren Kelli (Steven) Horvat, Michael D'Intino, Danielle D'Intino, Justin Mingle, Kyla Tims, Will Tims, Ian Schmitt and Liam Schmitt, great grandchildren: Kara Leigh and Stephen Horvat, sister Rosemary, nephew Patrick Jefferys, nieces Marybeth DePhillips, Patricia Winchester and Kaitlin Winchester.

Cathi was preceded in death by her father George J., mother Helen, sister Patricia, brother George P. and beloved husband Bill.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Graveside Service on May 15, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at Westminster Cemetery.
