Catherine A. (McDevitt) Emsley

Catherine "Kitty" Emsley (nee McDevitt) born November 15, 1929 of Lansdale, formerly of East Falls, Philadelphia, passed away April 14, 2022. Kitty was the daughter of the late Marie (Wendel) and Patrick McDevitt. She was predeceased by her husband Harry, sons Henry (Harry), and Francis (Fran), daughter Mary Ellen McNamee, and granddaughter Jennifer Dennison (Eric). She was also preceded in death by three sisters: Ann Marie "Sis", Mary, Margie and nine brothers: Joseph, Charles "Chicky", James, Francis "Micky", John, Harry, Joseph, William, and Tommy. Kitty is survived by her sister Rosemary O'Donnell (Joseph- deceased), son-in-law Dominic McNamee (Sharon), five grandchildren: James (Morgan), Joseph (Kristy), Diane (Mike), Liam (Summer), Sean (Fiancée Jackie), eleven great-grandchildren: Shane (Shelby), Tim, Austin (Emily), Christian, Caylie, Laina, Logan, Alivia, Angie, Harper, Jaxon and one due to arrive in June, and two great-great grandchildren: Iden and Eli.
Kitty was a homemaker. Family was everything to her and she loved every single one of them with her whole heart. She was the ultimate Grandmom and Nan. Kitty enjoyed crochet, drawing, and watching her EAGLES and PHILLIES play. She loved the Sci-Fi Channel, General Hospital, and being outside soaking up the sun. For the last five years Kitty was loved and cared for by her Gwynedd Healthcare Rehabilitation Center

Kitty's life will be celebrated Friday, April 22, 2022 at Koller Funeral Home located at 6835 Ridge Ave Philadelphia, PA. Viewing at 10 am, Service at 11 am. Interment is Private.
