Barbara Ruth (Shaffer) Yarnall

Barbara "Ruth" Yarnall, age 94, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026. She was a resident of the Masonic Home in Lafayette Hill.

She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and neighbors. Ruth was a devoted member of the Eastern Star. She was also a dedicated volunteer for her church and various community organizations. Ruth was an ardent fan of the "Little League World Series," rarely missing a game. She will forever be remembered for her kindness toward others.

She is survived by her children, Ruth Taylor (Gary, Sr.), and David Yarnall, her sister, Betsy (Jim), her grandsons Gary Taylor Jr. (Sandy) and Mike Taylor (Jessey). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Sadra, Capri and Trey Taylor, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased in death by her husband of 42 years, Frank Yarnall, and her sons, Robert F. and Paul R. Yarnall, as well as her parents, Harry and Mary Shaffer and her brothers Bud and Bill Shaffer.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, January 12, 2025, at the George Washington Memorial Park Chapel, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, PA. A service of remembrance will follow at 11:30 a.m.
