Anthony A. Giordano

Anthony A. Giordano, born in Philadelphia, suddenly passed away on September 20, 2024. The father of Tina Marie Soares (Fernando) and Gerardina A. Giordano-Capasso (James). Grandfather of Vincenzo D. and Santino A. Soares and Frank and Maria Capasso. Son of the late Angelo and Angela Giordano. Brother of Mary Ann Jones (Jim) and Gina Cole (Bobby). He is also survived by nieces and nephews Brian Jones (Kristy), Stephen Jones (Kristy), Angela West (Jason), Melissa Cole, Albert Torcini (Danielle), Marcella Chen (Alan), Nicholas V. Torcini (Anna), and many great nieces and nephews, especially Alana and Giuliana Chen.

Anthony, a graduate of Germantown High School, proudly served his country in the United States Army. He led a successful career as a court stenographer for the City of Philadelphia in the Municipal Court of Common Pleas for over 40 years. He was a man of simple needs who loved nothing more than his family, friends, and football.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia. On Friday, Anthony's family will welcome guests beginning at 9 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 E. Cathedral Road, Philadelphia. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment is Private.
