Agnes Teresa O'Grady Flanagan passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Gene, with whom she shared 59 beautiful years of marriage.
Born on March 16, 1935 in her beloved Tubbercurry, County Sligo, Ireland, Terry lived a full and vibrant life. She raised a family in Roxborough and was a devoted and loving mother. She worked for many years at Cathedral Village in the housekeeping department, but found her true calling at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, looking after the seminarians who she always referred to as "the boys".
Terry was a faithful parishioner of Holy Family Parish, her faith always carrying her through any trying times.
She delighted in returning to her homeland as often as she could, relishing in the ease and simplicity of life in Ireland.
Terry is survived by her loving daughters, Ann Marie and Maureen, her six adoring grandchildren, Francis, Ava, Rory, Sebastian, Camille and Lachlan; her sisters Nancy and Rita, her brother John, her beloved brother-in-law, Ed; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her sister Philomena and her brother Paddy Joe.
Relatives and friends are invited to Viewing on Friday, August 30 at 9 a.m. at Holy Family Church. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
