Obituary

Tim lived a life full of love, service, and commitment to his family and community.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy J. Quigley, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and dedicated public servant, who departed this world on September 16, 2026, at the age of 79. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Tim lived a life full of love, service, and commitment to his family and community.

Tim was a proud and honorable veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam War as an infantryman. He was a combat-wounded veteran, a testament to his bravery and dedication to his country. After his military service, he continued to serve his community as a police officer for 25 years with the Philadelphia Police Department, where he built a lasting legacy of friendship and respect among his colleagues and the people he served.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Donna (nee Koller) Quigley, and his cherished children: John (Kimberly), Timothy (Shauna), and Matthew (Lauren). Tim was a proud grandfather to his adoring grandchildren: Connor, Madison, Evelyn, Ava, Rowan, and Temperance. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth Quigley, as well as his brothers Mickey, Jimmy, and Dennis. Tim's legacy will also live on through his siblings Patrick, Bryan, Terry, Beth and Denise, many nieces, nephews, and his close-knit group of friends, including his best buddies John, Jack, Pete, and George.

Tim was a passionate Philadelphia sports fan, never missing a game, and he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as spending time at his cabin in upstate Pennsylvania, where he loved to hunt, fish, and create lasting memories with family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation with Tim's family at Koller Funeral Home on September 22, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Tim's life and legacy.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to Tunnel to Towers, an organization Tim held close to his heart.

Tim will be remembered for his unwavering love, strength, and compassion. He profoundly touched the lives of so many, and he will be dearly missed.
