Thomas Kirk Bland, Sr., died on December 10, 2021 at Lankenau Hospital. He was born on June 23, 1950 in Philadelphia. The son of Chester Bland, MD and Eileen (nee Carey) Bland. Thomas graduated from Roxborough High School, Class of 1969. Following graduation, he served with the U.S. Marine Corp. He retired from the Philadelphia Water Department. He is survived by his wife Joan Bland (nee McMonigle), his children Harry, Kate, Bridget, and Thomas Jr and many grandchildren. He is the brother of Dana, Leslie, Susan, Tyler, and the late Linda. He is also survived by his brothers in law Dick, Casey, Mike, Dennis, and Jack and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation with his family on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 10 AM until 12 PM at Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia. Interment is Private.
