Theresa D. Algieri, 87, formally of Belmont Hills, passed away suddenly on May 9, 2021 (Mothers Day) surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents, Anthony Morella and Dorothy Lyle, sisters Dorothy Savini, Peggy Jakubowski and brother Joseph Morella. She has two surviving sisters, Jean Myers and Anne Marie Falcone. Theresa leaves behind her devoted husband of 67 years, Joseph G. Algieri; two loving children, Linda (Art) Noel and Stephen (Donna Zenobi) Algieri; four grandchildren, Matthew (Devon) Noel, Maria (David) Umile, Frankie Algieri and Jimmy Algieri. She was a great grandmother to two great grandsons, Declan Noel and Beau Umile. Early in life, Theresa worked at Millie Switch in Gladwyne. For the majority of her life, however, she was a homemaker. She loved to cook but, as she would say with a grin, not on an electric stove! She cherished the companionship of her unofficial Women's Club at the Belmont Hills Community Center where she enjoyed playing cards and Bingo. Now, in the afterlife, she'll be able to restart the club and play once again with all the friends that preceded her. Theresa will be sorely missed by all who's lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, May 18 from 9:00am to 10:30am at St. Matthias Church, 128 Bryn Mawr Ave., Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
