It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Murphy, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on September 26, 2026, at the age of 65.

Terry is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Murphy (née Zack), his cherished son Terrance Jr. (Sam), and his grandchildren, Joshua Sorrentino and Jason Murphy, who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his siblings: John (Patricia Robinson), Joseph (Denise), Denny, and Helen Atkinson (Ben), along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a wealth of dear friends who were drawn to his infectious warmth and vibrant spirit. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Patricia Murphy and his sister Patricia.

For over 12 years, Terry proudly owned Murphy's Tavern, a hub of laughter and friendship in the community, where he created cherished memories with patrons and friends alike. He had a passion for life, which was evident in his love for golf as a dedicated member of the Toads for many years. He also delighted in riding his motorcycle and had a keen interest in cars, always finding ways to upgrade and enhance his vehicles.

Terry will be remembered not just for his entrepreneurial spirit but for the love he poured into his family and friendships, leaving an indelible mark on everyone's hearts.
