Medwick, Sr. for 32 years until his death on October 3, 1981.  Later she married the late Thomas Domanski until his death on December 6, 1988. Sophie attended Ridley Twp. High School, Class of 1944.  She became a Registered Nurse at the Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1947 and attained her BSN from West Chester State College.  Sophie spent most of her professional career as a school nurse in the Philadelphia School District. Sophie was preceded in death by her eldest son Andrew (Drew) J. Medwick. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Medwick Talese and youngest son, Mark (Elizabeth) G. Medwick.  "Mom-Mom" was adored by her six grandchildren and "GiGi" was loved bunches by her eight great grandchildren.  Sophie was the last living member of her immediate family, her parents, four sisters and one brother and the ending of precious, loving era. Andrew and Sophie moved from Delaware County Pa. to Bucks County Pa. in 1962.  They hosted many gatherings and celebrations for families and friends at the Blooming Glen "Medwick Farm". After Andrew's death, she moved closer to her work until her retirement in 1983. She enjoyed traveling  with  family members, friends and her senior group, both nationally and internationally. Sophie was the ultimate example of a nurse with a loving heart.  She was always there to assist in the caring of her family members and friends.  Sophie was always at the service of others. Sophie was fun, loving, adventurous, strong, kind, giving and had the most beautiful smile!  She loved playing games like: Mexican Train, Five Crown and Qwerkle, just to name a few. Her vitality and optimistic outlook energized everyone, around her, with joy. Her "dash" of life will be rewarded with God's words, "Well done my good and faithful servant.  Enter into the joy of the Lord."
