S. Mary Elizabeth Gebhart, SSJ, formerly known as Sr. Laurena, on November 23, 2021, at the age of 91. She is survived by her brothers, Thomas Gebhart (Mary Lou) and James Gebhart (Joanne). She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mildred Gebhart, her brothers Joseph and Raymond Gebhart, and her sister Irene. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and by members of her Congregation the Sisters of St. Joseph. A Viewing will be held on December 3, 2021 at 9:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave, Flourtown, Pa 19031. Services are private, but will be live-streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sister's name to Saint Joseph Villa, 110 W.
