Sr. Eleanor Claire Catherine McNichol, formerly known as Sr. Eleanor Thomas, on November 22, 2021, at the age of 79. She is survived by her brothers, Thomas (Therese), Vincent (Rosemary), David (Karen), Christopher (Nancy) and Stephen, her sisters, Cecelia, MaryJo (Jack), and Anne Marie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Eleanor (Magee) McNichol, Sr, brothers, Michael Daniel, Kevin, and Joseph, Jr., and her sister, Kathleen. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and by members of her Congregation the Sisters of St. Joseph. A Viewing will be held on December 1, 2021 at 9:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave, Flourtown, Pa 19031. Services are private, but will be live-streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sister's name to Saint Joseph Villa, 110 W.
