Robert J. Hartkopf, III, "Bob" passed away on August 24, 2022 at the age of 64. He was the husband of Sharon Hartkopf (nee Wood-Kostrisky). Father of Lisa Heffron (Shawn) and Chrissy Hartkopf (Rob Lavin) and the late Rob Hartkopf. Grandfather of Bobby Hartkopf and Keegan Heffron. Son of the late Robert and Marie Hartkopf. Brother of Marie, and the late Jeff and Cindy Hartkopf. He will also be missed by his best friend, pup Blake. Bob, known as the Mayor of Gorgas Lane, loved a can of Sprite, his boat and bay fishing with Sharon and his family. He especially loved sharing the catch of the day with friends and neighbors. Bob loved to plant a vegetable garden and share the crops. If any one needed something fixed, they knew Bob was guy to call for advice. He was happy to have passed much of his knowledge to his grandson Bobby. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to greet Bob's family on Saturday, September 3, 2022 beginning at 11 AM. A funeral service will begin at 12:30 PM. Interment is private.
