Rita M.
(Reeves) Keating
Oct 20, 1940 — Jul 15, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rita M. Keating, who left us on July 15, 2026, at the age of 85.
Rita is survived by her husband, Thomas, and her devoted daughters, Mary Beth Nast (the late Howie) and Barbara Keating-Mabe (Jason). Known affectionately as ReeRee, she adored her grandchildren: Tyler, Jescie, Kayla, Erin, and Thomas, as well as her great-granddaughter, Adalina. Rita was also a beloved sister, aunt, and friend to many, leaving behind numerous nieces and nephews who adored her dearly.
Rita cherished the moments spent with her family, celebrating Thanksgiving and making stuffing with her grandchildren and enjoyed joyful trips to the shore, especially to beautiful Cape May, New Jersey. She took great interest in her grandchildren's lives and was a steady source of encouragement and support.
Rita is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mary Reeves, as well as her siblings. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
A public viewing starting at 9:30 AM will be held at Koller Funeral Home on July 22, 2026. A Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM. Interment in Westminster Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Rita's incredible life and the love she so freely gave. In this time of sorrow, we invite those who knew her to come together in remembrance and gratitude for the extraordinary woman Rita was.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Wounded Warrior Project, or Tunnel to Towers Foundation as Rita was always a strong advocate of the military.
