Obituary

An avid lover of the outdoors, Richard found joy in fishing and tending to his garden, where he nurtured life as he did with his family.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Richard E. Sites, a beloved father, grandfather, companion, and friend. Richard, known for his warm spirit and unwavering kindness, departed this life on August 31, 2026, in Bordentown, New Jersey, at the age of 76.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Richard was the son of the late Edgar and Nora Sites. He pursued a Bachelor's degree and devoted his professional life to plumbing, a trade he approached with the same diligence and care he offered to his loved ones.

Richard is survived by his cherished daughters, Patricia Avila (Brian), Mary Sites (Brian Bush). He was a proud grandfather to his six grandchildren: Xavier, Aston, Riley, Bennett, Cameron, and Cole. He will be missed dearly by his companion, Constance McMillin, and her children, whom he held close, including Chris McMillian, Jessica McMillian, Jaimie McMillian, and Sarah Genovese. Richard's warmth extended to his siblings, Anne Roberts and David Sites, who will carry his memory in their hearts forever. He is also survived by his former wife Elizabeth Sites.

An avid lover of the outdoors, Richard found joy in fishing and tending to his garden, where he nurtured life as he did with his family. He enjoyed spending sunny days at the pool and cheering enthusiastically at his grandchildren's hockey games. Richard had a particular fondness for the History Channel and classic westerns, often found enjoying these passions with a twinkle in his eye and a heartfelt laugh.

His family and friends invite you to celebrate Richard's life and legacy. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Koller Funeral Home, beginning at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:30 a.m. Richard will be laid to rest at Mount Peace Cemetery, where we will gather to honor a life well-lived.

In this time of sorrow, we remember Richard E. Sites-a man of generosity, humor, and love. His legacy will continue to flourish through the lives of those he touched and the memories we cherish. He will forever be missed but never forgotten.
