CARDULLO, R.N., Mildred M. (nee Ritzo), formerly of S. Phila. and Havertown, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Villa, Flourtown, PA on October 7, 2015. Mildred was the 6 ^th of 7 children, the beloved daughter of John and Rose Ritzo, born in Shenandoah, PA on September 26, 1917. She began her lengthy career as a proud graduate of St. Agnes School of Nursing, class of 1938. She received her graduate degree from West Chester University and was employed as a school nurse by the School District of Philadelphia until her retirement. Loving wife of the late Gaspar Cardullo, devoted mother of Thomas Cardullo, (Ruth, deceased) and the late John Cardullo, (Leanora). Mildred is survived by 2 grandchildren, Lori Gray (Gregory) of Blackwood, NJ and James Cardullo (Andrea) of Tucson, AZ, 3 great-grandchildren, dear sisters Theresa Unione of East Windsor, NJ and Anna R. McDonald of Newtown Square, PA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss her infinite kindness and the cheerfulness she brought to social gatherings. Her family is forever grateful to the staff of St. Joseph Villa for the dedicated care and support they provided. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation at St. Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Avenue, Flourtown, PA 19031 on Monday, October 12, from 9:30AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Mrs. Cardullo's name to Operation Smile at 3651 Faculty Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23453 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be greatly appreciated.
